SARIO: Investment seminar in the Czech Republic

The Slovak investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) represented our country in the Czech Republic today. In cooperation with the Investment Support Association the agency organized an investment seminar at the International Engineering Fair in Brno.

SARIO presented Slovakia to Czech and foreign businessmen within the project “Business Friendly Slovakia”. The investment seminar aimed also to establish contacts with new potential investors as well as with investors who would like to expand their production in Slovakia.

“Slovakia is predestined to become a centre for further expansions of foreign companies based in the Czech Republic. We can offer a stable market, qualified workforce, flexible labour legislation and gradual removal of administrative burdens for business, Robert Simoncic, CEO SARIO said.

At the investment seminar SARIO was represented by Robert Simoncic, CEO SARIO. Dusan Dvorak from KIA Motors Slovakia presented the story of one of the key Slovak investors: why Slovakia has got company´s preferences, described experiences with doing business and cooperating with suppliers in Slovakia and introduced KIA´splans for upcoming period. The representatives of Czech and foreign companies got a comparison of the business environment in Slovakia and the Czech Republic through the presentation of Michal Toman from PWC. The possibilities of financing business in Slovakia were presented by Fabio Bini from Unicredit Slovakia.
